ग्राम पंचायतों को खुले में शौच से मुक्त करें: डीएम, महराजगंज: स्वच्छ भारत मिशन को सफल बनाने को लेकर जिलाधिकारी महराजगंज वीरेंद्र कुमार ¨सह ने सदर व मिठौरा के स्वच्छता ग्रहियों के कार्यों की समीक्षा की। साथ ही खंड विकास अधिकारियों व सहायक विकास अधिकारियों को खुले से शौच मुक्त ग्रामों पर विशेष ध्यान देते हुए स्वच्छता कार्यक्रम को शत-प्रतिशत सफल बनाने के लिए निर्देशित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि हर हाल में 31 जनवरी तक दस-दस ग्राम पंचायतों को ओडीएएफ बनाया जाए।
सदर विकास खंड के सभागार में आयोजित बैठक में जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए अधिकारी, कर्मचारी व स्वच्छाग्रही मनोयोग से जुटकर कार्य करें। लोगों को खुले में शौच न जाने की सलाह देते हुए शौचालय बनवाने के लिए प्रेरित करें। जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि स्वच्छाग्रह के मानदेय का भुगतान समय से किया जाए। इसमें किसी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी। इस दौरान खंड विकास अधिकारी सूर्य नारायण मिश्रा, एडीओ पंचायत प्रदुम्मन प्रजापति, ब्लाक कोआर्डिनेटर अविनाश चतुर्वेदी, संतोष पटेल सहित ब्लाक के अन्य स्वच्छाग्रही उपस्थित रहे। मिठौरा संवाददाता के अनुसार मिठौरा ब्लाक सभागार कक्ष में जिलाधिकारी ने कहा कि इस ब्लाक में स्वच्छता अभियान का लक्ष्य काफी पिछड़ा हुआ है। यहां पर दस ग्राम पंचायतों को ओडीएफ बनाना है, किन्तु अभी तक मात्र चार ही ग्राम पंचायत ओडीएफ हुआ है, जबकि 31 जनवरी तक हर हाल में दस के लक्ष्य को पूर्ण करना अनिवार्य है। इस कार्य में ग्राम की आंगनबाड़ी, आशा व ग्राम रोजगार सेवक की सहभागिता कराने पर भी जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जो स्वच्छता कर्मी समय से अपना लक्ष्य पूर्ण करेंगे और बेहतर कार्य करेंगे, उन्हें जिला स्तर पर प्रशंसा पत्र व पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया जायेगा। इस अवसर पर प्रभारी खंड विकास अधिकारी मिठौरा सूर्य नारायण मिश्र, ब्लाक प्रमुख रामनिवास यादव, मकबूल, ऋषि पटेल, दिनेश कुमार, मनोज पटेल, प्रताप कुमार, अरशद, रामरतन वर्मा, रविकेश, गिरधर, गिरिजेश, प्रेम लाल, संतराज यादव, मनोज कुमार, कैलाश, रूक्मिणी पटेल सहित ब्लाककर्मी व स्वच्छता कर्मी मौजूद रहे।
